What data I collect

Data you send me by email, Viber, Telegram, phone or the contact form: your name, contact details, your message and the documents to be translated, which may contain personal data.
Invoicing data: name or company name, address and tax number where required by law.
Technical data when you visit the site: the site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses for security and delivery. Visitor statistics, if enabled, use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track individual visitors.

Purpose and legal basis

Quotes, translations and replies to enquiries: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Legal obligations: accounting and tax rules and the duties of a permanent court interpreter, including the required register of translations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Security and operation of the site: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long I keep data

I keep documents and correspondence for as long as needed to provide the service. Data I must keep by law (invoices, the register of translations) is kept for the legally required period and then deleted.

Who receives data

I do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for marketing. Data may be processed by the service providers I use: Cloudflare (website hosting), Google (email), and Viber or Telegram if you contact me through them. Some of them may process data outside the EU under the safeguards required by the GDPR. I share data with public authorities only when the law requires it.

Cookies

This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. Your chosen language is remembered only in your browser. Google Maps loads only when you click “Show map”, and Google may then set its own cookies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict processing, to object and to data portability. Send your request to semanticotranslations@gmail.com. You can lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (azop.hr).
